Jordan-Appraisal is second to none when it comes to technology
At Jordan-Appraisal, we have a confession to make: We are technology junkies. We use the latest technology at our disposal to complete your appraisal without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
In recent years, appraisals have become more demanding and require more in depth analysis. We put quality first, but we know that turnaround time is a big concern these days. So, we've found that the best place to save time is in our our workflow. Our continuous efforts to be the best have convinced us that using the very latest in new technology allows us to provide more credible reports, quicker turnaround times and the very best in customer service.
Way back when, the majority of orders came in via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back to the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. Things are quite a bit different now and when an order is placed on the site, we get a text message on our phones. We can even log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
Just look at how Jordan-Appraisal makes ordering easier
At Jordan-Appraisal we understand it's all about "cycle time". We use our resources to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually reduce the amount of time needed for your appraisal.
Data Gathering Tools
The appraisal process is nothing if not a data intensive procedure. We spend a lot of our time gathering the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Jordan-Appraisal takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an application written for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on the spot. And instead of using an old tape measure, we're seeing that more appraisers are utilizing laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
We combine all of these different technologies to ensure that your final report is comprehensive and accurate. This aids both you and us by requiring less time for call-backs and revisions. Our goal is to save you time and money.
Here at Jordan-Appraisal we make sure you have more ways to receive your report.
Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Generally our clients are most familiar with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's a lot faster than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to innovate report delivery with this website.
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had problems sending or receiving an e-mail because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too. Whenever we send an appraisal, the client gets a link sent to their email to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if you lose the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.
Jordan-Appraisal simplifies things by using Digital Workfiles
It would be great if appraisers could complete an assignment, give it to the client and never worry about seeing that document again. However, appraisals are used to demonstrate the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years, allowing them to recall any appraisal at any time to either defend the valuation or to be used in other legal proceedings.
To sum it all up, Jordan-Appraisal uses all the technology available to us technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we're able to retrieve that document at any time and recall exactly what that job was about.
We just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we use our technology daily. Utilizing the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to save time without cutting corners and deliver a better product to you, our client.
